Empex and Myrtha make a splash at Lake Garda

Empex Watertoys and Myrtha Pools have teamed up to create a new splash park at a Lake Garda camp site for children up to 12 years old.

An shallow area of the pool at the Italian San Francesco four star camping site was raised and covered with the Myrtha PEM soft non slip surface on which Empex installed its creative, interactive Watertoys.

Empex says interactive water play is an ever increasing trend within the playground market, and the demand for splash parks is constantly increasing in municipal parks and recreation centers, hotels and resorts, campgrounds, zoos, FEC's, waterparks, theme parks and even less obvious places such as shopping malls and cruise ships.

Interactive water play, having a user's input create a response from a water feature is the trend of the day, reflected in the various designs of Empex Watertoys.

At the San Francesco camping resort, interactive spray nozzles, hand wheels, tipping buckets, water jets, spinning wheels, water games and water shooters have been added to the fun.

EMPEX features include interactive Aquanetics such as Aquatrwirl, Aquaspins, and Aquaswirl where hand wheels empower the children to make domes spin, create a water crown, turn a wheels or a spinner.

The Aquaduel is a water game that allows the kids to dowse their opponent if they can get more water in the target first. The Watertotter shoots a jet of water from the handle bars as the kids pump up and down and the watershooters are wonderful to get back at dad or mom. Aquaflo, Aqualoop and Aquaflor provide a zany contortion of water sprays that animate the space. The Aquasheet creates a full water curtain to run through.

For the young children, the Aqualab provides an interactive play table where they can play with water, and control water flow and the Aquawave lets the toddlers slid down just like the big kids on waterslides. The Aquacaps are low level mushrooms with interactivity for the young children.
